We want to help you! We support families fostering in Oconee, Pickens and Anderson counties.

Fostering Faithfully Support Group

The Oconee County Foster Parent Support Group meets at Foothills Church in Seneca, September-April, on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 4 PM-6 PM.

The Anderson County Foster Parent Support Group meets at Hope Church, September-April, on the the 2nd Sunday of each month from 6 PM-8 PM.

All licensing and licensed foster and kinship parents are welcome! Dinner and childcare are provided. Contact us for more information!

Have a new placement? We give every foster child in Oconee, Pickens, and Anderson counties a new duffel with his/her first name on it! NEed a MEal?

Our meals team is eager to deliver home-cooked meals as a way to serve foster parents who take new placements or are having a stressful season of appointments/visits/transitions.

A catered meal will be delivered to families four times a year with placements in Oconee and Pickens Counties and a restaurant gift card will be emailed out four times a year to families in Oconee, Pickens and Anderson Counties when signing up (see more information on our private Facebook support page-ask us how to join).

If you have taken a new placement, have an emergency, or just need a meal because you’re overwhelmed, fill out the form below and we’ll either send someone on the team to your home with a meal OR send a gift card to help!

Note: we only sponsor birthday parties for children with open and active DSS cases in Oconee, Pickens, and Anderson counties. Kinship cases are only served for one year. RECREATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

We want to give foster children opportunities to learn new things and have great experiences in extracurricular activities including dance, music, theater, tumbling, swimming lessons, karate, tutoring, field trips, etc. Foster parents and kinship caregivers with open cases in Oconee, Pickens and Anderson counties are welcome to apply!

Recreation Scholarship

Important Information

Thank you for all you do to serve your foster children! We have funding for scholarships up to $300 per foster child per semester (three semesters: Jan-April, May-August, Sept-Dec). Like all non-profits, we have a limited amount of funds to distribute to foster children in Oconee, Pickens and Anderson Counties for this project. Preference will be given to older children; however, you may apply for any foster child five years of age or older to have a recreational opportunity.

We'd love any other feedback about how your child grew/enjoyed this experience. We will use this information to re-apply for this funding using these outcomes so we can offer assistance next year! If plans change after funding is issued, contact us IMMEDIATELY to approve changes/refund grant monies. Please note that we will send you an approval email, but we can't send a check for reimbursement until you have sent a receipt to our email: fosteringfaithfully@gmail.com. If you are paying for monthly lessons, you may submit monthly receipts or wait until the end of the semester and submit all receipts at once. If we fund your request, please consider leaving a review for us on the public Fostering Faithfully Facebook page. Donors may look at the reviews to determine funding for our future initiatives. Refund for Change of Plans

I understand if plans change or if my child moves/doesn't participate in the planned activity and I have been reimbursed for the cost of the activity, I must send a refund to Fostering Faithfully.

TUTORING Reimbursement

Fostering Faithfully assists kinship caregivers for their first year and licensed foster parents as long as they have an active placement. You will pay for your tutoring, email receipts to us, and then we will reimburse you up to $600.00 annually.
