Volunteers Update and Organize Foster Care Resources at Anderson County DSS

We are taking a moment to celebrate the incredible dedication and care that went into updating and organizing the resource space at Anderson County DSS. What may look like neatly labeled shelves and well-stocked bins represents hours of intentional work—and it shows. The space looks incredible.

Because of this effort, the resource room is now fully prepared to serve children in foster care and to support kinship caregivers who often step into fostering with little notice. When families and caseworkers can quickly access what children need, moments of uncertainty become moments of support and stability.

This kind of behind-the-scenes service may not always be visible, but its impact is lasting. It brings dignity to families, efficiency to caseworkers, and peace of mind to those walking through a difficult transition.

We are deeply grateful for volunteers who faithfully show up, roll up their sleeves, and love their community well. Thank you for helping create a space rooted in care, readiness, and hope.
